Honey sticks provide a quick boost of energy and are an easy treat in the thick of labor. For laboring, I've noticed clients always feel more comfortable and free when they're wearing their own clothing rather than a hospital gown. I like to have hot packs on hand for easing lower back muscles, peppermint oil to reduce nausea and refresh the senses, and birth balls of all shapes to help the birthing person move baby down whether they're sitting up and active or taking a rest
