At MedCity Doulas, we use a team model so that you always have a primary doula and a backup doula who are familiar with your birth plan and needs. This ensures continuous, reliable support—no matter when you go into labor. Your primary doula will be your main point of contact, and your backup doula will be available if needed.
Does insurance cover birth doulas?
Some insurance plans, Medicaid programs, or HSA/FSA accounts may cover doula services. We recommend checking with your provider, and we can provide invoices or documentation for reimbursement if applicable.
